This role is responsible for applying technical skills and working as part of a team carrying out tasks under limited supervision.JOB DESCRIPTION Successful candidate possesses expert knowledge ofIncome Tax PreparationMonthly Close / Journal EntriesSales/Use Tax PreparationPayroll PreparationBank and Credit card monthly reconciliationsAccounts ReceivableAccounts PayableCost AnalysisAs well as other special projects / duties as assigned.Candidate must possess intermediate knowledge of double-entry accounting systems as well as relevant accounting experience and education. Must demonstrate ability toanalyze and record common transactions in the accounting system (with strong understanding of cash basis, modified cash basis, and tax basis of accounting).monitor and process payroll for client companies, who operate in diverse industries and environmentsidentify potential payroll compliance issues and prepare appropriate compliance forms for federal, state and local payroll taxesmanage accounts payableexecute monthly accounting procedures, including ability to reconcile the general ledger system to each sub-ledger sales and purchasing system used to process the individual transactionsreconcile general ledger bank accounts to bank accounts monthlyeffectively manage time, meet deadlines, and work under pressurecommunicate effectively, both orally and in writingwork independently and as a member of a teammaintain strong client relationshipsEDUCATION & SKILLS Holds CPA certification or working towards CPA certificationBachelor's degree with accounting focus is preferred.Experience with computerized accountingAdvanced Excel knowledge is preferredPossess high level of integrityJOB TYPE Full-time
