Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/27/2026 Duration: 11 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will be skilled in handling high-acuity patients and emergency situations with confidence and efficiency. Responsibilities: Provide rapid assessment and care to emergency patients Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on severity Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including ventilated cases Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in high-pressure situations Active RN License (IL) Minimum 2 years of recent ER/ED experience (Required) BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Certifications (Required) Strong skills in triage, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response Experience with ventilators, ABGs, and critical care patients Ability to float within facility as needed About Prime Staffing At Prime Staffing, we understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for both our clients and candidates.
