CNC Operator 2 - 2nd Shift
Three years' experience as a CNC Operator IOperates mills and or lathes by following work orders, engineering plans (blueprints), including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, and conditional switchesCalculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; (GD&T).Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; proving out part programs.Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting offsets; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.Maintains equipment by completing assigned preventive maintenance; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling maintenance for repairs and/or assistance.Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Complete production and quality logs as assignedUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunitiesAccomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests;Follow quality standards to ensure parts are to the customer and company standardsMaintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.Other responsibilities may be added or assumed based on necessity Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
