This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to perform precision machining operations. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements. • Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job. • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and consistency of produced parts. • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC lathe machines. • Conduct inspections and measurements of machined parts to ensure they meet specifications. • Adjust machine settings to correct any deviations or quality issues. • Document and report production data, including quantities produced, machine performance, and any issues encountered. • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and other team members to optimize machining processes. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. • Willingness to learn or train in the position. • Must have the physical and mental stamina to stand, walk, lift, and adjust to the noise and lighting of the manufacturing environment. • Other duties as assigned and not limited to just the above. Key Requirements• Strong Proven experience as a CNC lathe operator or in a similar role. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. • Strong understanding of CNC lathe machine operations and tooling. • Experience with programming and troubleshooting CNC lathe machines. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in a manufacturing setting. • Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
