Energy Project Development Manager

Role Description The Energy Project Development Manager is accountable for the end-to-end execution of assigned energy projects, serving as the single-threaded owner responsible for delivering projects that meet schedule, cost, and reliability objectives. This role operates at the center of the energy development lifecycle, integrating interconnection strategy, infrastructure delivery, and commercial structuring into a cohesive execution plan. Own execution of assigned energy projects from initiation through delivery Develop and manage integrated project schedules, budgets, and forecasts Coordinate cross-functional teams across T&I, Infrastructure, and Commercial Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues Drive decision-making and escalate key challenges as needed Manage internal and external stakeholders, including utilities and partners Ensure alignment across technical, commercial, and schedule requirements Track and report project performance, milestones, and risks Support development of project strategies and execution plans Maintain disciplined documentation and reporting across the project lifecycle Qualifications 7–10 years of experience in energy development, infrastructure delivery, or project management (PMP preferred) Experience with energy, utility, or large-scale infrastructure projects Strong project management skills, including schedule, budget, and risk management Ability to manage complex, cross-functional teams and stakeholders Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Excellent communication and organizational skills Familiarity with energy project lifecycle and delivery challenges Travel required is expected to be up to 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Benefits Salary Range: US $140,000- $150,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations) This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
