You have the opportunity to join us on the ground floor of one of the most exciting product portfolios in the industry! There is lots of room for growth in this small but expanding team. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate has a proven understanding of semiconductor testing and good technical knowledge on equipment and testing documentation. You have experience in equipment verification, repair and problem solving. Though you are independent, inventive and take initiative, you are also a phenomenal teammate with a positive working demeanor. A successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, as well as customer service skills when dealing with contractors and suppliers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Main responsibility is to setup and support test equipment in System Level Test lab for new silicon validation Doing Software/BIOS update for testers is part of day-to-day activity Debug and troubleshooting of electronics circuit boards is required whenever test failures are seen Need to prioritize the task based on work order request and support the lab operation by working with cross functional teams PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of test equipment maintenance and following calibration procedures Basic knowledge in Linux OS and commands Experience with liquid cooling system knowledge is preferred Preferred to have Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics background with experience in test equipment setup and maintenance Hands-on experience with tester installation and preventive maintenance LOCATION: Austin, TX This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. #LI-TW2 #LI-HYBRID Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
