This includes application engineering of processes developed by suppliers that are planned for use at TTM, installation of these processes and or equipment, establishment of operating conditions to produce product, daily monitoring of process conditions, and performing failure mode effect analysis to determine failure points of the process.Duties:Research availability of chemical processes to meet TTM technology needsWrite a project plan for process implementationImplement process and perform failure mode effect analysis to establish correct operating conditionsWrite all necessary procedures and instructions for process operation, maintenance and safetyMonitor process operation on a daily basis to assure consistencyPerform failure analysis and root cause analysis when product/process problems occurPerform analyses on the processes when requiredEssential Knowledge and Skills:Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the jobKnowledge and application of statistical techniques for process controlKnowledge and application of failure mode effect analysis techniques as applied to both process development and process improvementMust be able to lift 25 pounds without strainingEducation and Experience:Minimum of one year experience in a Manufacturing setting preferred. Printed circuit boards is a plusBachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering or related degreeMust have a general knowledge of methods used to training people in the operation and theory of the processes they operateMust have or be capable of obtaining and maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearanceAdditional Job Description Subject matter expert in area of responsibility or working knowledge of several technical areas. Applies advanced technical principles to complete medium to complex tasks. May provide input on group’s technical direction. Follows set processes/protocols. Works on assignments of medium to complex level. Structures project plans and manages cost-effective execution of tasks. Errors may result in serious delays and/or departmental consequences. Meets goals with some direction/ supervision. Important player on large technical projects and programs. Uses discretion to help design and implement solutions to somewhat complex problems. Typically expects 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s; 3+ years of experience with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 1+ years of experience. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:$69,388 - $115,647Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment.
