Key system components such as condensers, absorbers, quenchers, Venturi scrubbers, and wet electrostatic precipitators are also offered in skid form for varied applications. All systems are innovatively designed in-house and brought to life by their trusted supplier network.The RoleWe are seeking a Process Engineer III to support both project engineering and field commissioning activities for custom air pollution control systems.This role is designed for an engineer who is comfortable both developing process calculations and equipment specifications and working directly in the field to start up and troubleshoot industrial process equipment.Field commissioning and customer-facing technical work are central to this role. Engineers in this position will gradually take ownership of leading equipment startups and commissioning activities independently.This position involves approximately 20 30% travel to customer sites.What You Will DoProposal & Process EngineeringPerform mass and energy balance calculations to support system design and proposal development.Develop equipment sizing calculations and performance estimates for custom air pollution control systems.Support proposal development including technical scope definition, performance calculations, and budget estimates.Project EngineeringDevelop and review P&IDs, equipment specifications, and technical documentation.Coordinate with vendors and suppliers during equipment fabrication.Review technical submittals and engineering documentation.Support project execution activities under senior engineering leadership.Field Startup & CommissioningParticipate in and eventually lead equipment startups and commissioning activities at customer sites.Support process optimization and troubleshooting during startup and performance testing.Assist with control loop tuning, instrumentation verification, and system performance validation.Work directly with plant personnel to ensure successful system operation.Technical Reporting & Customer SupportPrepare startup and commissioning reports, performance test reports, and troubleshooting analyses.Provide ongoing technical support to customers operating Envitech systems.What We Are Looking ForB.S. in Chemical Engineering (M.S. a plus)5 8 years of process engineering experience in an industrial environmentDemonstrated field experience with commissioning, startup, or operational support of industrial equipmentStrong fundamentals in:mass and energy balancesfluid mechanicsheat and mass transferFamiliarity with industrial mechanical and electrical equipmentAbility to write clear, accurate technical reports and documentationComfortable working directly with customers in both technical and field environmentsOne or More of the FollowingProject engineering experience supporting industrial equipment or process systemsExperience performing heat and material balances / PFD development using process simulation toolsExposure to PLC or HMI systemsWhat Makes Someone Successful HereYou are rigorous and detail-oriented you verify calculations and understand the physical behavior of process systems.You are self-directed and comfortable solving complex technical problems.You are comfortable working in both engineering design environments and industrial plant settings.You can communicate effectively with engineers, operators, and plant personnel.You are willing to travel to support system startup, commissioning, and customer support activities.Why Join EnvitechWork on complex industrial process systems used around the worldGain experience across the entire lifecycle of custom-engineered equipmentJoin a small team where engineers have real ownership and visibilityLearn directly from senior engineers with deep process expertise
