You'll be designing and tuning low-latency, high-availability database systems and building the data pipelines, warehouses, and marts that the business actually runs on.The work sits inside a global management and technology consultancy known for its deep bench in financial services. You'd be part of an engineering group that cares about picking the right tool for the problem instead of defaulting to whatever's familiar, and that expects its developers to solve hard things alongside genuinely smart people.If you take pride in writing clean, efficient code and enjoy the puzzle of making data move fast and reliably at scale, this is a good fit. The role is onsite three days a week in the uptown/downtown Dallas area.What You'll DoDesign and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant database systemsWrite reusable, testable, and efficient PL/SQL as the work demandsBuild and support data pipelines, data warehouses, data marts, ODSs, and lakehousesWork on the integration of different data storage solutionsTune for performance, tackle load balancing, and automate what should be automatedWrite and optimize complex queries and medium-to-complex stored proceduresShare what you learn across the engineering teams so the group keeps improvingQualifications4+ years of SQL and PL/SQL experience across OLTP, data warehouse, and big data databases.
