Production Operator 2nd Shift

Machine OperatorA machine operator is a professional who works in manufacturing or industrial settings, operating and monitoring machinery to produce goods. They are responsible for setting up, adjusting, maintaining, and troubleshooting the equipment to ensure efficient and safe production and must have the ability to work in a safe manner, follow safety guidelines.Understand and follow Food Safety policies.Must be willing to work flexible schedules and work in other departments including weekends and holidaysAbility to read and understand recipes.Ability to troubleshoot process related issues within the boundaries of the recipeAbility to use digital scales and have a working knowledge of scale functions.Ability to mix doughs according to recipe. Have a working knowledge of the mixer, using the time and batch recipe systemFollow FIFO (First in First Out), Mix lot number and documentation accuracy.Clean & Refill ingredient bins and label the bins with the correct lot number.Ability to work in a standing position for entire shift and climb steps and ladders.Monitors and assists with equipment upstream/downstream to ensure continuous operation.Ability to clean mixers, work areas properly during and after production runs or changeoversMaintain a clean, organized and safe work areaObserve all plant safety, GMP and allergen procedures and attend appropriate training sessionsResponsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirementsResponsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to your supervisorFollow supervisor's directives and be able to support the shift team as neededESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOBAn individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
