As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with developmental disabilities reach their maximum potential. We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment, and we believe that every person deserves the opportunity to grow and thrive.Responsibilities:Provide one-on-one support and guidance to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them to develop life skills, achieve personal goals, and build confidenceAssist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, medication management, and household maintenancePromote independence and self-advocacy by empowering individuals to make their own decisions and take ownership of their livesCollaborate with other professionals, including therapists, psychiatrists, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care and supportMaintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirementsParticipate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and advances in the fieldSchedule:Monday-Friday, 10am-4pmMonday-Friday, 4pm-12am (total of 70 hours per week)Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMale or female able to lift 50lbs with medical experiencePrior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not requiredCompany Culture:At Guided Steps, we love to see you grow.
