Production Planner
Production Planning / Capacity Planning Specialist Intertec Engineering a full-service Engineering firm is seeking 2 Production Planning/Material Readiness professionals to a 6 month + hourly contract opportunity supporting one of our large Aerospace clients.These production planners will need to be local to Phoenix, since on-site customer visits may be required, as well as on-site visits to Intertec in Tempe, AZ.Skills / Experience / Responsibilities:Production Planning and Material Readiness21 gear part numbers transitioning to internal production.Update bills of material, routings, lead times, work centers, sourcing rules, and related SAP modules such as Materials Master.Confirm availability of raw materials, tooling, fixtures, gauges, and other required components.Coordinate inventory disposition and final external-supplier orders to prevent shortages or excess stock.Establish internal work orders and planning signals for the transition.Capacity and Schedule PlanningDetermine internal capacity requirements by machine, operation, labor skill, and production volume versus need-by dates.Compare required hours against available capacity and identify constraints.Define the production volume and product mix the internal gear line can support.Modify the production schedule, lot sizes, priorities, or transition sequence as necessary.Monitor capacity, backlog, output, and schedule attainment during ramp-up and recommend corrective actions.DeliverablesComplete 21 part numbers that have been identified for transition.Updated BOMs, routings, sourcing data, and material-planning parameters.Material and tooling readiness assessment.Capacity analysis identifying available hours, required hours, and constraints.Revised production schedule aligned with internal capacity.Ramp-up tracking and issue-resolution plan.We encourage US Citizens to Apply!
