Unlike larger GCs where early-career builders may get stuck in a narrow lane, Centric gives Project Managers exposure to the full construction lifecycle: estimating, preconstruction, client communication, subcontractor coordination, execution, closeout, and long-term relationship management.The company is looking for a developing Project Manager who is passionate about construction, eager to grow, and ready to take on increasing ownership with mentorship from experienced senior leaders.The OpportunityThis is an ideal role for someone with roughly 2–5 years of post-college commercial construction experience who wants to become a true all-around builder. You may currently be a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Estimator, or junior PM who has been exposed to commercial construction but wants broader ownership and a clearer path into full project management.You will support projects from early planning through completion while learning Centric’s relationship-based approach to construction. The right person will be organized, hungry, coachable, and excited to grow into a PM who can eventually run projects independently.What You’ll DoSupport commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.Assist with estimating, budgeting, scope review, buyout, and subcontractor coordination.Help manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement logs, schedules, and project documentation.Coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, consultants, and internal field teams.Attend project meetings and help drive follow-up on action items.Support project cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.Help maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and reliable execution.Spend time both in the Brisbane office and on Bay Area jobsites.Learn Centric’s full-cycle PM model, including estimating, preconstruction, execution, and client management.Grow into independent project ownership over time.What We’re Looking For2–5+ years of experience in commercial construction, ideally with a general contractor.Experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Junior Project Manager, or Estimator.Exposure to commercial interiors, hospitality, restaurants, hotels, renovations, tenant improvements, adaptive reuse, or complex occupied-site work is a plus.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly.Comfortable working onsite in Brisbane and traveling to Bay Area jobsites.Passion for construction and a desire to build a long-term career with a local Bay Area GC.Local Bay Area roots or a strong reason to be in the Bay Area long term preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred, but not required with relevant experience.Why Join CentricExposure to the full project lifecycle, not just one narrow function.Mentorship from experienced PMs and senior construction leaders.Opportunity to work on complex, high-profile Bay Area commercial projects.Family-oriented culture with strong employee retention.Relationship-based negotiated work, not purely hard-bid/lump-sum conflict-driven projects.Potential career path from Project Engineer / Junior PM into Project Manager, Senior PM, and beyond.Benefits include health/dental coverage and automatic 3% 401(k) contribution.
