Plant Manager - Reverse Logistics and Processing

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Manager to oversee our reverse logistics and processing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, quality control, and team management, ensuring our processes are efficient and meet the highest standards. Job Description: The ideal candidate will have experience managing both a facility and a team. The Plant Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations by creating, implementing, and documenting changes or improvements as needed. This position will update process documents and continue to monitor and assess various processes to ensure desired outcomes. The business improvements identified will produce better results in processing, output, cost-reduction, and overall targeted outcomes. This position reports to the Director of Planning. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar leadership role within a logistics or processing environment. Strong knowledge of reverse logistics, quality control, and inventory management. Experience and understanding of apparel/Clothing/Garments categories, planning and analysis helpful. Strong written and oral communication abilities. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Advanced Excel skills. Understand quality control concepts. Organized and must be able to multi-task. Perform with a high degree of accuracy, strong attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and in teams. Work with energy and enthusiasm. Motivate and inspire team, drive team performance and positive morale. Responsibilities: Evaluate the efficiency and costs of established processes, develop improvement strategies, and facilitate changes. Develop and update process documents and oversee employee training of new procedures and policies. Conduct ongoing analysis of processes to ensure their effectiveness. Monitor internal controls and suggest changes as necessary. Coordinate projects and lead teams to successful completion. Create and present process improvement ideas. Work closely with other Managers to review staffing levels and adjust accordingly. Review supply inventory daily to ensure that supply needs are met. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Other duties and special projects as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
