This role is perfect for a professional who is passionate about orthopedic and sports medicine and is eager to make a difference in patients' lives. Our Physical Therapist will be responsible for the assessment, planning, and implementation of physical therapy treatment for patients in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field and a strong desire to help patients recover from injuries and improve their physical abilities.Responsibilities:1. Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine their physical condition, limitations, medical histories and personal goal.2. Develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient needs and goals, focusing on pain management, endurance, strength building, mobility and motor function.3. Implement therapeutic interventions for patients, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.4. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care.6. Educate patients and their families about what to expect from the recovery process and how best to cope with challenges.7. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records, ensuring all documentation meets professional standards and legal requirements.8. Stay updated on the latest innovations in physical therapy and integrate new knowledge into treatment plans.9. Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to enhance patient satisfaction and adherence to therapy programs.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly preferred.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a focus on orthopedic and sports medicine. Open to new grads.3. Current state license to practice physical therapy.4. Certified in Physical Therapy with a specialty in Orthopedic or Sports Medicine is a plus.5. Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse patient caseload.6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.8. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software.9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.10.
