Capable to learn specific equipment repair techniques and other skills as apply to the restaurant's property, building, equipment and refrigeration. Specialty skills command a higher salary.Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of restaurant equipment (fryers, grills, ovens, walk in freezers/coolers, ice machines, etc.)Technical knowledge of electrical repair, carpentry, and plumbingKnowledge of HVAC/refrigerationAbility to inspect and correctly diagnose standard malfunctions in restaurant equipmentAbility to read and interpret manual, schematics and specifications related to dutiesAbility to perform minor and major repairs related to the restaurant and equipmentAbility to work independently, exercising judgment and initiativeMust have a current Driver's License and clean driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalent2 years experience in general maintenance/repair work or equivalent combination of education and experience.
