Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Philadelphia, PA, for a Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator. The coordinator will manage and engage volunteers, organize community outreach events, and oversee volunteer programs to support the organization's mission. Responsibilities include recruiting and training volunteers, maintaining strong relationships with local organizations, representing the Refuge at community events, and fostering connections to expand public support and awareness. Qualifications Strong skills in Communication and Customer Service, with an ability to build and maintain positive relationships.Experience in Community Outreach, engaging with diverse groups to promote organizational goals.Proficiency in Training and managing volunteers to ensure successful program participation.Ability to conduct Research to identify and develop new outreach opportunities and partnerships.Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.Experience working in nonprofit or animal welfare organizations is a plus.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is preferred.
