The successful candidate will have strong experience with Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, Azure identity and access management, and cloud security.This position requires an engineer who can collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams while independently troubleshooting complex cloud and deployment issues.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML.Implement continuous deployment workflows using Argo CD.Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.Develop reusable Terraform modules for Azure resources and enterprise cloud environments.Manage Terraform remote state, state locking, environment separation, provider versions, and infrastructure drift.Configure and administer Azure identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID.Implement Azure RBAC, managed identities, service principals, app registrations, and workload identity federation.Configure and manage Azure Key Vault for secrets, certificates, and encryption keys.Provision and secure Azure Blob Storage and other Azure Storage services.Support Azure networking components, including virtual networks, subnets, NSGs, private endpoints, private DNS zones, load balancers, and application gateways.Integrate CI/CD pipelines with Azure Kubernetes Service and Argo CD, where applicable.Automate operational and deployment activities using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash, or similar scripting technologies.Configure monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerts using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.Troubleshoot failed deployments, pipeline errors, access issues, networking problems, and application connectivity issues.Implement cloud security, governance, tagging, backup, disaster recovery, and cost-management practices.Participate in architecture reviews, production deployments, incident response, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment standards.Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and quality assurance teams.Required Qualifications:7–10 years of overall experience in information technology, cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, or a related area.Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform.Strong experience with Azure DevOps, including Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, service connections, variable groups, approvals, and YAML-based pipelines.Hands-on experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.Experience with Argo CD for GitOps-based continuous deployment.Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.Experience with Terraform modules, remote state, state locking, workspaces or environment separation, imports, and drift management.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Azure identity management.Experience with Azure RBAC, managed identities, service principals, app registrations, and least-privilege access.Hands-on experience with Azure Key Vault.Hands-on experience with Azure Blob Storage and Azure Storage Accounts.Working knowledge of Azure networking, security, monitoring, and governance.Experience with Git-based source-control and branching strategies.Proficiency with PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI, or another automation language.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Kubernetes, Helm, and containerized applications.Experience implementing GitOps deployment models with Argo CD.Knowledge of Azure Policy, management groups, landing zones, and enterprise subscription governance.Experience with private endpoints, service endpoints, Azure Private Link, and private DNS.Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and alerting.Familiarity with cloud security, vulnerability management, compliance, and disaster-recovery practices.Microsoft Azure or HashiCorp Terraform certifications are beneficial but not required.
