We provide automation solutions for a multitude of industries; each helping upgrade efficiency, increase throughput and guarantee reliability in production.Job DescriptionPOSITION OVERVIEWOur Electrician is responsible for performing electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within an automation manufacturing facility that includes panel building operations. This role requires a foundational understanding of electrical systems, industrial automation, and control panel assembly. The Level 2 Electrician will work under the guidance of senior electricians and supervisors to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical and automation systems.Top 5 Responsibilities Undertake more complex wiring tasks, including working with control panels and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Integrate electrical components with automation systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation. Interpret and work independently from electrical schematics and technical drawings. Regular maintenance of electrical systems performed to prevent potential issues. Examine and test electrical installations to ensure that they comply with quality standards.Additional Responsibilities / DutiesInstall, wire, and terminate electrical components in automation systems and control panels per schematics and wiring diagrams.Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and control system issues on machinery and equipment.Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and panel layouts to ensure accurate installations.Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electrical control panels to meet design specifications and industry standards.Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks, including replacing faulty wiring, sensors, relays, and other control components.Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production teams to support automation and panel-building projects.Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including wiring diagrams and modification notes.Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements.Minimum Qualifications/Experience2+ years of experience in industrial electrical work, automation, or panel buildingHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Vocational school or junior technical college training in related industry.Basic understanding of PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and automation systems.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and panel wiring diagrams.Experience using electrical tools, meters, and test equipment.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close quarters performing noted tasks related to machinery building and repair work.Ability to operate a forkliftHigh degrees of attention and care required to prevent injury to others when responsible for flow of electrical power.Baseline robotic knowledge is a plus for the position.Willingness to travel on installs inside and outside the United StatesMust furnish the basic hand tools of the tradeWORKING CONDITIONSAbility to work while standing and walking for potential long periods of timeAbility to follow all company safety standardsSteel Toed Boats & Safety Glasses RequiredFlexibility to work overtime and weekends when neededAbility to lift up to 50 pounds at timesFollows all Company Core ValuesAlways do the Right ThingHumble ConfidenceRelentless ExecutionCommitted to GrowthCommitted to a Positive, Healthy Work EnvironmentWhat We OfferAlliance Automation benefits include, but are not limited to:Hourly/Salary Wage Based on ExperiencePaid VacationSick TimeMedical/Dental/Vision/Life/Disability401k & Company MatchParental LeaveWe provide our employees with a safe, clean, climate-controlled work environment.
