Technical Program Manager (TPM) – Security IP

Overview In this role, you will lead and coordinate large-scale technical projects within the Security IP organization, aligning with SoC teams to drive secure IP delivery across AMD products. You’ll collaborate with diverse engineers and managers to manage schedules, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes. You’ll shape program processes and foster cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced, multi-team environment. This position offers impact by enabling secure, cutting-edge SOC projects and contributing to AMD’s broader technology leadership. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and task plans with Security IP leadership and stakeholdersMonitor progress with defined metrics, reports, and reviews; manage risks, issues, and dependenciesEnsure documentation and processes conform to PM frameworks and standardsCoordinate scope, timelines, quality targets, and deliverables to support objectivesServe as primary coordinator between Security IP and SoC teams; align feature delivery and milestonesRepresent Security IP in cross-functional planning, architecture, and program review meetingsProvide regular status updates to leadership; escalate issues when neededContribute to PM processes, templates, metrics, and best practices; drive continuous improvementCoordinate knowledge sharing, training, and process adoption across teamsPromote consistent PM practices across programs Key requirementsTechnical background in the semiconductor industry with engineering and/or program management experienceAbility to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple workstreams across cross-functional teamsExperience collaborating with geographically distributed teams across time zonesExperience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentWorking knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systemsExperience with AI tools and collaboration/project management platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft OfficeStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiencesExperience in Agile development environments; Agile certification is a plusBachelor’s or Master’s in engineering (Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics & Communication) or equivalentStrong communication (verbal and written)Highly organized and able to manage competing prioritiesCollaborative, cross-functional mindsetWindows and Linux familiarityJIRA, Confluence, Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft OfficeAgile methodologies; Agile certification a plus
