The Site Director serves as the on-site leader and is accountable for creating a positive, structured, and professional camp environment each day.About the RoleNY Mets Camps provides the training, curriculum, and operational support — you bring the leadership, energy, and accountability that ensure campers leave with improved skills, new friendships, and a love of the game.You will manage a team of 10+ coaches and staff, oversee camp execution, and serve as the primary point of contact for parents and leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all daily camp operations across assigned locationsSupervise, mentor, and evaluate a team of 10+ staff membersEnsure a safe, structured, and engaging camp environmentExecute Mets Camps operational standards and curriculumRun staff meetings and set daily expectationsCommunicate professionally with parents and headquartersAddress challenges in real time with strong decision-makingSupport pre-season efforts including hiring, training, and logisticsWhat We're Looking ForExperienced leader with strong communication skillsBackground managing teams in youth programs, camps, or sports settingsPassion for working with children and developing staffAbility to lead with energy, structure, and accountabilityStrong problem-solving skills and situational awarenessHigh level of professionalism and dependabilityThis is a 5-week seasonal position (Monday–Friday, ~9 hours/day)You must be available to work at the following locations:July 13–17: Manhattan, NY (North Meadow Ballfields)July 20–24: West Windsor, NJ (West Windsor Little League)July 27–31: Manhattan, NY (Heckscher Ballfields)August 3–7: North Caldwell, NJ (Liberty Field)August 10–14: Millburn, NJ (Gero Park)Reliable transportation is required for travel between locations.QualificationsMinimum 1+ year experience managing teams or staffFamiliarity with baseball fundamentalsExperience working with youth (ages 4–13 preferred)Comfortable using technology for operations and communicationAbility to pass a comprehensive background checkAvailable for pre-season training and onboardingWork outdoors across NYC and New Jersey all summerFree tickets to select New York Mets home gamesLead a team representing a globally recognized brandParticipate in the Mets Camps end-of-summer event at Citi FieldGain valuable leadership and operations experienceInterview ProcessAfter applying, candidates can expect:15-minute virtual interview with recruiter20-minute interview with Executive DirectorCompensation$1,400–$1,600 per week (based on experience)J-18808-Ljbffr
