Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process.How you'll make an impact in this role* Lead compassionate clinical assessments by conducting trauma-informed physical exams and medical histories that prioritize the patient's psychological well-being and dignity.* Champion the integrity of justice through the precise collection and preservation of forensic evidence, ensuring every finding is documented to the highest professional standards.* Deliver immediate holistic care by treating physical injuries and administering prophylactic medications to protect the patient's long-term health and recovery.* Empower patients and families by navigating them through the complexities of evidence collection, reporting options, and long-term support resources with clarity and empathy.* Serve as a vital expert voice for survivors within the legal system, providing advocacy and objective testimony to ensure their journey toward justice is supported by clinical expertise.What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure/Certification/Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.Certification specializing in Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner credentialed from the International Association of Forensic Nurses preferred.Education:* Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.* Completion of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner training SANE-A within 12 months and completion of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner training SANE-P within 16 months, if applicable.What additional preferences we're seeking* Must be able to do 72 hours of call in a 6 week period - days, mid-shifts, and night shifts.
