As we expand, we are building a strong operations backbone-and this role is a critical part of that foundation.The Bilingual Patient Intake Coordinator Lead is a key player in ensuring that families enter care quickly, smoothly, and with the support they need from day one.If you're organized, confident, bilingual in Spanish, and ready to lead the intake process-not just follow it-this is the right fit.The RoleAs the Intake Coordinator Lead, you oversee the full intake pipeline from first family contact through case-ready status. You guide families, coordinate internal teams, prevent delays, and keep the entire onboarding process moving. You're the point person who ensures every case meets compliance, documentation, and insurance requirements before starting services.This role blends leadership, case management, communication, and problem-solving. You're not just completing tasks-you're owning the flow, identifying gaps, and setting the standard for intake quality.What You'll DoServe as the lead point of contact for new families entering careOversee intake cases from referral through authorization and case-ready statusSupport Spanish- and English-speaking families with clear, compassionate guidanceTrack all documentation, follow up on missing items, and ensure compliance is metVerify insurance eligibility and coordinate the full process for BCBA assessmentsSubmit and track assessment authorizations with insurersMonitor intake timelines and escalate cases that need clinical or operational interventionIdentify delays, remove barriers, and keep the pipeline movingCoordinate with internal departments to ensure readiness for service startRecommend process improvements as the company scales, and help build future intake workflows What We're Looking ForSpanish bilingual (required)Experience in intake management, care coordination, or healthcare administrationABA experience is requiredStrong leadership instincts and comfort taking ownership of a processExcellent communicator (phone, text, email) who builds trust with familiesHighly organized, able to manage many cases without missing detailsCalm, steady, and solutions-focused during fast-paced weeksInterested in growing with a scaling startup and expanding into greater responsibility Why Unicare ABACompetitive payLeadership-level role with room for upward growthNewly renovated Brooklyn officeA chance to build systems, influence operations, and have real impactMake a meaningful difference for families accessing ABA care
