Inspector 1The Inspector 1 is responsible for ensuring that all inspections of the products are performed and accepted to customer requirements and company standards.Essential Functions:Follow quality processes and procedures to perform detailed inspection in receiving, in-process and final inspection to ensure products conform to customer requirements, rejecting and returning unacceptable materialsComplete required documentationPerform AS9102 first article inspection and other extensive inspections per specifications? Document all inspections in accordance with company's procedures and processesDevelop and review inspection plansEnsure quality standards are met for all components and assemblies for final acceptanceMaintain parts history folders, inspection reports and prints/drawingsCalibrate and document hand tools and other inspection equipmentPerform visual inspectionPerform hardness and electrical conductivity testingCarries out day-to-day work following the departments continuous improvement planSkills & Abilities:Effectively work with mechanical and electronic inspection tools and devicesWorking knowledge of Geometric and Dimensional Tolerances (GD&T)Working knowledge of mylars, optical comparator, thickness gage and profilometerKnowledge of aerospace specifications, quality codes and standardsKnowledge of Six Sigma preferredAble to read blueprints and schematicsMust be accurate and detailed with minimum errorsAble to work within specific time schedules/deadlinesBasic computer skillsPerform job with minimum of supervisionWork within a team environmentRespond with sensitivity to people of diverse perspectivesDependability, excellent attendance, ability to work overtime and other shiftsRequirements:BackgroundE-VerifyDrug TestResumeEnglish SpeakerSchedule & Payrate: $23.00 - $28.001st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
