Tax Accountant/PreparerLHH recruitment solutions is hiring a Tax Preparer/ Accountant in the Boca Raton, FL area. Our client is searching for a Tax Preparer with a strong background in Business and Individual returns with 1040,1065, 1120s. This role is working fully in office and does offer 401k and PTO benefits.You are a great fit if:· CPA highly preferred but not required.· Familiarity with UltraTax is preferred, though experience with comparable professional tax software is acceptable.· 5 -10 plus years' experience in public accountingResponsibilities to include:· Compute taxes owed or refunds due using specialized software, calculators, and tax tables. · Interview clients to obtain necessary information on taxable income, expenses, and allowances. · Consult tax law handbooks, bulletins, and regulations to determine proper procedures for atypical returns. · Check tax forms for errors in arithmetic, data entry, or procedure. · Provide guidance to clients on future tax planning to minimize liability. This position is a direct hire opportunity that can pay $75k-$95k depending on resume and experience.
