Role Description This full-time, on-site role of Imaging Specialist III (Field Service) is located in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The role includes maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing medical imaging equipment, supporting radiology and nuclear medicine systems, and ensuring equipment meets regulatory and operational standards. Additional responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, maintaining clear communication with healthcare staff, and documenting service records for compliance and reporting purposes. Qualifications Proficient in Medical Imaging, Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine systemsShould possess specialized knowledge in several specialized modalities such as radiology, MRI, nuclear medicine,Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationshipsEffective Communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiencesAttention to detail with a focus on compliance and safety standardsMinimum of seven years experience in the repair of radiology equipment and prior biomedical experienceExperience in troubleshooting and maintaining medical equipmentRelevant certifications in medical imaging technologies are preferredAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyAssociate’s degree in Biomedical Technology, Electronics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be consideredAbility and willingness to serve "on-call" duty as requiredMust be willing to serve as a technical resource to others in areas of specialty or certification(s)Prior experience of at least seven to ten years experience with various imaging equipment manufacturers or other appropriate related experience ultrasound, CT, cath. lab., linear accelerators, etc. Prefer certification (CRES) in these different modalitiesGood communication and strong customer service skills
