We are currently sourcing for a Cloud Engineer to work in Durham, NC!The Cloud Engineer will assist in leading initiatives in Customer and Account management & and Security Master and Pricing applications with a diverse scope and will act as the main interface between end users, product owners, and the information technology organization. Additionally, provide support through deep technical knowledge of distributed systems, understanding of business processes and system workflows. Closely work with the Engineering leads, Enablement leads and participate in research to identify effective new solutions design. We combine the software development skills with native tooling from cloud providers and enterprise tooling from Fidelity to help develop cloud centric ecosystem employing modern architecture and services.The Expertise and Skills:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science / Engineering field6+ years of software development experienceProven experience with sophisticated architectural builds and technology initiativesPassion for technology and can stay on top of the newest technology trendsHighly motivated teammate with strong communication, and organization skillsExperience working in agile development environmentHands on experience in Test Driven DevelopmentExperience Implementing Solutions Using The Following Technologies:Application development on Public Cloud - AWS Managed Services, ECS, EC2, EKS, Serverless Framework/Lambda, API Gateway, Step Function, S3, ALB, Route53Containerization technology like Docker (deployed on ECS, EKS)REST API development using Java, SpringBoot, NodeJSExperience with Database: Oracle, NoSQL Database (DynamoDB)Repository Management – Github/BitbucketSupport tools like Splunk/Datadog/KibanaNice To Have Experience:DevOps CI/CD tools like Terraform, JenkinsDevelop/Implement automated test cases using clientD, TDD testing framework (JEST, Cucumber, Mocha, Selenium, Istanbul)Good understanding of Digital Certificate managementDynamic WorkingFidelity's hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences.
