Job Opportunity: Allergist/ImmunologistOur organization is on the lookout for a dedicated Allergist/Immunologist to enhance our Division of Allergy and Immunology. This role is tailored for a physician specializing in immunology or inborn errors of immunity.The selected candidate will join a team of 11 healthcare professionals, which includes 7 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers, at our main hospital and various satellite locations. We provide care not only at the primary campus but also in the East Valley, Southwest Valley, and Northwest Valley. Currently, two physicians lead our immunology initiatives, both in inpatient and outpatient settings. The addition of a third immunology-focused physician will help us better serve patients in Phoenix and its neighboring areas.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver diagnostic and therapeutic services, including urgent and emergent care as required.Ensure the highest standards of patient and family-centered care.Contribute to the hospital's patient satisfaction objectives and the division's specific targets.Adhere to divisional standards for patient safety and quality of care.Practice contemporary evidence-based medicine.Educational InvolvementEducation is a vital component of this role, as our clinic is involved in training rotating pediatric residents. We have established a partnership with a renowned institution for a combined Allergy/Immunology fellowship, allowing physicians to work closely with fellows and engage in regular interactions with specialists through Grand Rounds, Case Conferences, and Journal Clubs. Faculty appointments are available through multiple medical schools.Research EngagementOur clinic is actively engaged in clinical and translational research focusing on areas such as food allergies, eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, and asthma.
