Job Description Position OverviewJob Posting: Our organization is on the lookout for an Allergist/Immunologist to enhance our Division of Allergy and Immunology. This role is tailored for a physician specializing in immunology or inborn errors of immunity.The selected candidate will collaborate with a team of 11 professionals, including 7 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers, across our main hospital and satellite locations. We serve a diverse patient base in the East Valley, Southwest Valley, and Northwest Valley, contributing to a busy and expanding practice in Phoenix, Arizona. Our patient demographic includes a wide range of conditions, from common allergies to intricate cases involving allergy and primary immunodeficiencies. Currently, two physicians lead our immunology initiatives, both in inpatient and outpatient settings, which include participation in specialized clinics such as the Immunohematology Multi-disciplinary Clinic and the 22q Multi-disciplinary Clinic. Adding a third physician focused on immunology will help us better serve the needs of our patients in Phoenix and its neighboring areas.Education plays a vital role in this position, as our clinic is involved in training rotating pediatric residents. Additionally, we have partnered with a renowned medical institution for a joint Allergy/Immunology fellowship program. Physicians will have the opportunity to work alongside fellows and engage regularly with Allergists/Immunologists through Grand Rounds, Case Conferences, and Journal Clubs. Faculty appointments are available through the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix, and Creighton University School of Medicine.Moreover, our clinic is actively engaged in clinical and translational research focusing on food allergies, eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, asthma, and more.
