We are seeking a qualified and experienced Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens position in central Arkansas, near Donaldson. Job Details: Position Type: Locum Tenens (Physician - Cardiac Anesthesiology)Location: Near Donaldson, ARStart Date: February 17, 2025End Date: Ongoing (no specified end date)Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3 PMCall Requirements: None for weekday or weekend shiftsEstimated Shifts: Specific date blocks available in 2025 (e.g., February 17-21, March 17-21, May 19-23) Responsibilities: Provide anesthesia care for cardiovascular (CV) cases, including advanced procedures such as ECMO and thoracic cases.Perform and interpret Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).Supervise a team of CRNAs (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists) specialized in cardiovascular cases.Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to deliver high-quality perioperative care. Required Qualifications: Board Certified in Anesthesiology (Cardiac preferred)Active Arkansas medical license requiredClean malpractice and background record preferredCOVID vaccination requiredAbility to perform advanced CV anesthesia procedures, including TEE and epiduralsExperience with CV cases is essential, excluding transplantsExperience with Cerner EMR system preferred but not required Compensation: Holiday Pay: 1.5x regular hourly rateMalpractice coverage must be included in submitted rates.
