Occupational Therapist

Type: Occupational Therapist Location: Jackson, MS Hours Per Week: 36 Shift: Days 0800-430 Weekend/On Call: N/A *URGENT NEED* Fidé is currently seeking a Occupational Therapist with experience for a 13-week contract in Jackson, MS. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of current Occupational Therapist experience. Acute Care Rehab serves patients in the hospital. Outpatient Rehab serves community patients, occupational therapists for Acute Care Rehab to float between outpatient and acute care rehab. Must be licensed (OT, PT, and PTA) in the state of MS. Responsibilities: - Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a focus on critical care, acute care, and ICU settings. - Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and occupational health to develop and implement patient care plans. - Incorporate premium skills such as speech therapy, ADLs, and discharge planning into treatment strategies. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients with diverse needs. - Document patient progress accurately in EMR systems and adhere to BLS Certification standards.
