Occupational Therapist

Job Description:Responsibilities:Provide occupational therapy services in both Acute Care Rehab and Outpatient Rehab settings.Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs and goals.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists and physical therapist assistants, to deliver comprehensive care.Float between outpatient and acute care rehab units, adjusting to the needs of each environment.Document patient progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as necessary.Qualifications:Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Mississippi.Relevant experience in acute care rehab and outpatient settings.Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and execution of therapeutic interventions.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and the healthcare team.Unit Description:Acute Care Rehab: Serves inpatients within the hospital setting, focusing on rehabilitating patients to return to their highest level of function.Outpatient Rehab: Provides rehabilitation services to patients from the community, helping them manage and improve their conditions outside of the hospital.
