We hope you’ll join us in this journey!What You Will Do:As the Area Technical Service Manager, you will provide technical support and assistance to distributors within the region for all Chore-Time equipment – ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.What You Will Accomplish:Prepare and provide training and education for growers, integrators, and distributors on full Chore-Time product line. Provide phone and field technical support for distributors and end-users. Create and maintain product manuals, training materials, mini-seminars, or specialized schools for Chore-Time products. Support the Sales and Engineering team by conducting new production introductions, onsite training, and follow-up service. Partner with distributors to provide warranty support for CTB products. Complete all necessary documentation and reporting - ensuring all information is recorded efficiently and accurately. Attend various trade shows, events, and other networking events to support distributors and represent the Chore-Time brand.Position Requirements:Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Technical/Agriculture-related field preferred; Will also consider combination of relevant work history/coursework Experience:0-5 years of technical and customer service experience in equipment troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair; Previous experience in Poultry or Agricultural technology and systems highly preferred Functional Skills:Exceptional customer service and public relations experience; Strong organization skills; Ability to understand circuitry and computer networking; Excellent electronics, electrical, and ventilation controls background; Solid mechanical aptitude; Detailed and analytical Technology Aptitude/Skills:Proficient with Microsoft Office; Knowledge of communications-based computer software, apps, and server installations, training, and setup skills Language Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to train and influence others Leadership/Behaviors:Supportive and collaborative; Calm and even-keeled with the ability to listen to ideas and implement the best enhancements; Service-minded and a quick learner; high-energy and self-driven; Must be positive and able to conceptualize and initiate projects effectively; Flexible and adaptable; Comfortable balancing multiple and competing priorities/tasks Culture Match Behaviors:Casual, informal environment that encourages cross-functional dialogueOther Important Information:Position Salary:Salary is commensurate with proven expertise.Reports To:Technical Service Manager – North AmericaTerritory:IN, MI, IL, WI, IA, MO, MN, ND, SD, WY, MT, ID, and Western half of CanadaCore Hours:8:00am-5:00pmTypical Work Week:M-F; occasional weekendsDirect Reports:NoneTravel:Will travel approximately 3 nights/week on average within defined area/territory – Occasional visits to Canada
