OH(PL)// Plano TX (Onsite (SL)Experience: 8+ YearsEmployment Type: Contract / Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Agentic AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent AI agents and agentic workflows using Python, TypeScript, and/or Java. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering experience combined with hands-on expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, RAG, tool calling, and multi-agent architectures.The candidate will work closely with engineering, product, and data teams to build scalable AI-powered applications that can reason, plan, use tools, retrieve information, and autonomously execute business workflows.Key Responsibilities· Design and develop AI agents and multi-agent systems using LLMs and modern agentic AI frameworks.· Build production-grade AI applications using Python, TypeScript, or Java.· Develop agentic workflows involving planning, reasoning, tool/function calling, memory, and task execution.· Integrate LLMs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or other foundation models.· Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources.· Develop integrations with APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and external tools that AI agents can invoke.· Implement prompt engineering, structured outputs, context management, and LLM evaluation strategies.· Work with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar technologies.· Design scalable APIs and backend services using FastAPI, Flask, Spring Boot, Node.js, or similar frameworks.· Implement agent memory, state management, guardrails, human-in-the-loop workflows, and error handling.· Develop automated testing and evaluation frameworks for AI agents, including accuracy, latency, reliability, and hallucination monitoring.· Deploy AI solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.· Collaborate with architects, developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify and implement AI use cases.· Ensure AI applications meet enterprise requirements for security, privacy, governance, observability, and scalability.Required Skills· 8+ years of software development experience.· Strong hands-on experience with at least one of:PythonTypeScriptJava· Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI.· Hands-on experience developing AI agents, autonomous workflows, or multi-agent systems.· Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, function/tool calling, structured outputs, and context management.· Strong experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases.
