R&D Technician

Summary:Location: WarrendaleWork Mode: OnsiteResponsibilities:Conduct analytical measurements of product and/or packaging in a laboratory environment using a variety of equipment.Accurately record, transpose, and manipulate data.Support development and commercialization of new/improved products and existing products through active management of laboratory ingredient inventory, sanitation, and sample shipping/receiving.Assist Food Scientists with experiments in the lab and/or pilot plant by pre-weighing ingredients, processing and packing formulas, labeling, and case-packing.Facilitate activities such as sample preparation and demonstrations, evaluation of product shelf-life, and technical support for initial factory production.Requirements:Good communication, attention to detail, critical thinking, and investigation skills.Self-starter with a passion to learn.Ability to handle multiple assignments/tasks concurrently and seek guidance as needed.Familiarity with MS365 Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams).Associate or B.S. degree in STEM such as Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.Ability to stand for extended periods and repeatedly lift up to 40 pounds.
