Follow the company on LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram.Tutor.com is hiring High Dosage Tutors for high dosage, small group online tutoring sessions with K12 students. This position takes place anywhere from morning to after school hours all across the US - perfect for Math teachers, substitute teachers, or anyone with math subject matter expertise who is looking for a flexible role working from home.Our convenient online classroom allows tutoring from any computer with a stable, high-speed internet connection. No travel necessary! Tutoring sessions include online tools such as an interactive whiteboard, voice, video, and chat communication, and application sharing.Major Responsibilities:Tutor small groups of students in a remote environmentMeet with the same group of students up to three times a week at a scheduled timeEngage students using online tools such as interactive whiteboard, voice, video, and chat communicationUtilize student assessment data to determine gaps in knowledgeCollaborate with teachers to align tutoring sessions with class curriculumProvide quality reports to Tutor.com staff, teachers, and school administrators on student achievementInteract with Instructional Specialists to improve pedagogical methods and quality communicationRequirements:Participate in training and professional development to understand and apply the methodology of high dosage tutoringCurrently reside and eligible to work in the U.S.Available to tutor at least ten hours per week. Schedule may change slightly from semester to semester.Capable of utilizing and changing approach as necessary to ensure student engagement and understandingAble to demonstrate knowledge in algebra or mid-level mathPossess strong communication skills with fluency in EnglishEarned a 4-year degree (or higher) from an accredited universityThe pay rate for this role is $22 per hour.The company does not provide benefits for this position.Applications accepted on an ongoing basis.Please note that the above-referenced position can be performed anywhere in the United States except in the following states: Arkansas, Hawaii, Idaho, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Wyoming.The Princeton Review is an equal employment opportunity employer.
