KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Project Manager: application projects We are currently undertaking an enterprise level program to modernize our technology platforms. In addition to legacy technology platform replacement, the primary objectives of our transformation program are to align our operating environment to optimize the new system and tools, to and enable expansion into other markets. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering one, or multiple projects focused on development and integration of functional system components by collaborating with the program workstream leads, other program team members (including from our third-party solution vendor) and stakeholders across the company, to ensure that all activities are accounted for and monitored proactively. This individual will be responsible for developing and monitoring the project schedule and scope, facilitating communication among workstream teams and other stakeholders, and monitoring and driving to conclusion the actions items, issues, risks and decisions related to the project. This is a highly matrixed role requiring experience, leadership, tact, tenacity and diplomacy. Key ResponsibilitiesProject and Program Planning and SchedulingDevelop and maintain a comprehensive ScheduleWeekly updates of the ScheduleCollaborate with various teams to gather deliverables, activities and milestonesCreate realistic and achievable timelines for deliveryCommunications and ReportingCompile a weekly status reportConduct a weekly status meeting including the project team members, vendor, and others, as neededRegularly assess project progress and identify deviations from the ScheduleEnsure all the project deliverables and activities are accounted for in the weekly status reportsRisk and Issue ManagementIdentify potential risks and issues that could impact the success of the projectDevelop and implement risk response strategies and contingency plansMaintain the Program Risk Action Item, Issues, Decision (RAID) logEnsure that every risk and issue have documented action itemsWork collaboratively with the workstream leads to ensure the actions items are driven to conclusionLeadership and Team ManagementLead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountabilityPromote professional development and knowledge sharing within the teamEncourage a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-makingChange ManagementManage change within the project, ensuring that changes are communicated effectively and integrated smoothly into ongoing activitiesWork with the Change Management team to assess the impact of changes on the project and develop appropriate strategies to manage them Job Requirements QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, Information Systems or a related fieldPMP is a nice to haveSolid understanding of project management methodologies and toolsExpert knowledge of MS-Project, Visio, and MS Office toolsProven experience as a Program or Project Manager with solid project planning with MS projectExperience with application driven projects: app migrations, website/web app build, integration projects, etc.Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologiesUnderstanding of System Development Life CyclesExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesSelf-starting, with high attention to detailSkilled at tactfully driving and managing internal and external team interactions and vendor deliveryExcellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with Health Plans organizations and processesFamiliarity with the concept of Application Programming Interface (API) Compensation depends on experience but is typically $50-65//hr W2 ABOUT KORE1 Specializing in professional and technical recruiting, KORE1 is committed to supporting top IT, Engineering, Creative, Scientific, Accounting and Finance professionals in their career paths.
