Inside Loan Officer

Position Overview:The Inside Loan Officer's primary role is to source, qualify and originate mortgage loans for Panorama Mortgage Group.Key Responsibilities:Monitor loan pipeline through Lenders Office.Attend weekly sales meetings.Take information from the prospective borrower and complete the loan application form.Analyze the prospective borrower's income and debt and pre-qualify the prospective borrower to determine the maximum mortgage amount that the prospective borrower can afford.Perform basic office functions including taking phone calls, scheduling meetings for loan officers, and making copies.Stack file for processing.Educate the prospective borrower in the home buying and financing process, advising the borrower about the different types of loan products available and demonstrating how closing costs and monthly payments could vary under each product.Maintain regular contact with the borrower, realtors and the Company between the time of the application and closing to apprise them of the status of the application and gather any addition information.Assist in collecting missing documentation for completion of loan files from borrowers.Determine whether the property is in a flood area, where required by the Company.Attend the closing of the mortgage loan, if requested by the company.Under no circumstances shall the Inside Loan Officer be compensated greater than the amount negotiated in the Inside Loan Officer Compensation Agreement.Able to comply with the policies and procedures outlined in the Company HandbookPerform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education/Experience:Must have a current license through NMLS and be in good standingKnowledge of Freddie Mac (FHLMC), Fannie Mae (FNMA), FHA, and VAKnowledge of the principles and theoriesTwo (2) years prior mortgage or mortgage banking experienceAbility to deliver effective results and to meet deadlinesHistory of exceeding sales goalsReliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automotive insuranceSound judgment and decision-making skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervisionExcellent phone and service skillsTimely communication and response times according to department standardsLanguage:English preferred, Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) desired.
