Daily Responsibilities: Provide small animal care Perform animal restraint when necessary Offer client education on pet health and wellness Assist with veterinary procedures Maintain high standards on medical records Required Skills: Small Animal Care: Experience in providing medical care to small animals Animal Restraint: Ability to safely handle and restrain animals during procedures Client Education: Strong communication skills to educate pet owners on proper care Veterinary Assisting: Assist staff with medical procedures and treatments Kennel Duties: Assist in the medical aspects of kennel operations and animal care Nice to Have Skills: Fear Free Certified Fluid Therapy Large Animal Care Small Animal Medicine Technical Skills: Soft Tissue Surgery Digital Radiography Routine, Wellness, and Preventative Medicine Dental Prophylaxis Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary: $140,000.00 Maximum Salary: $165,000.00 Health Insurance Paid Time Off Company Information: Atlanta West Veterinary Hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care, including preventative care, surgery, grooming, and boarding for pets and large animals in the West Georgia area.
