This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY About the Opportunity: This role offers the chance to provide high-quality outpatient behavioral healthcare to an underserved population within a collaborative, integrated care setting. You will work with patients ages 5-99, delivering trauma-informed, patient-centered psychiatric services both in person and via telehealth. Position Summary: As a PMHNP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions in an outpatient setting. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care while maintaining autonomy in clinical decision-making. Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments Diagnose using DSM-5-TR criteria Develop and manage individualized treatment plans Provide medication management and follow-up care Deliver trauma-informed, integrated behavioral health services Collaborate with medical providers and community partners Participate in after-hours on-call rotation (1-2 times per year) Maintain timely and accurate EHR documentation Provide telemedicine services as appropriate Qualifications:Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Current, unrestricted Texas license Minimum 12 months - 2 years of PMHNP experience Experience working with underserved populations preferred Comfortable treating patients ages 5 and up Strong knowledge of DSM-5-TR Experience in integrated or collaborative care settings preferred Proficient with electronic health records and telehealth platforms Compensation & Schedule:Base Salary: $119,000 annually Year 1: Base + stipend Year 2+: Base + productivity compensation Eligible for external federal & state student loan repayment programs Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesdays: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Caseload: 16 - 18 patients per day Intakes: 60 minutes Follow-Ups: 25 minutes Benefits & Perks:Medical, Dental, Vision Life & Disability Insurance 403(b) Retirement Plan 15 Days PTO (increases with tenure) 3 Personal Days 6 Sick Days 7 Paid Holidays 5 Paid CE Days + Annual CE Stipend Reimbursement for licensing & professional dues Student Loan Repayment Eligibility Mission-Driven, Community-Focused Organization Location: Harker Heights, Texas We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
