Community outreach, education, and awareness programs are integral to its mission of ending the cycle of child abuse.Role Description:This is a full-time, on-site Mental Health Therapist position based in Belton, TX. The therapist will provide therapeutic services, including individual and family therapy, to children who have experienced abuse and their non-offending family members. Core responsibilities include developing and implementing tailored treatment plans, conducting mental health assessments, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing crisis intervention as needed. The Mental Health Therapist ensures all services are trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and client-centered.What You’ll Do:· Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.· Provide individual, family, and group therapy using foundational therapeutic skills.· Maintain a caseload of 20–25 clients, averaging 20–25 sessions per week.· Facilitate support and therapy groups for children and non-offending caregivers.· Use assessment tools (including DSM-5) to measure and document clinical progress.· Participate in team case reviews, supervision, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.· Coordinate with Family Advocates and other community mental health partners.· Respond to subpoenas and provide court testimony as needed.· Engage in ongoing training and professional development to maintain licensure.Qualifications:· LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) required· 1–2 years of post-graduate clinical experience· Passion for working with children and families impacted by trauma· Strong organizational skills and commitment to evidence-based practices· Cultural humility and a collaborative spiritWhy Join Us?At CACCT, your work changes lives.
