DescriptionGSI is seeking an amazingly talented Information Manager to join our team supporting our Federal client in Washington, D.C. Note: This is a high-level technical Individual Contributor role. Despite the "Manager" title, this position does not oversee personnel; instead, you will serve as the primary architect and steward of the program’s data architecture.In this role, you will provide on-site hands-on development and technical support. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of all data inputs and the accuracy of all dashboard outputs. We are looking for a practitioner who can personally consolidate, migrate, and integrate disparate platforms to create a single source of truth for a $50M+ construction program.What You'll Be Doing:Architect & Engineer: Act as the lead developer for the PMO’s information environment, personally building and maintaining the systems that facilitate data exchange.Hands-on Development: Design and deploy custom Power Apps for data intake and engineer complex Power Automate flows, including CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations.Platform Integration: Participate in the technical consolidation and migration of data across platforms to support an upcoming Kahua implementation.Dashboard Construction: Personally build, configure, and maintain user-friendly dashboards that track real-time schedule, cost, and performance metrics.Data Migration & Schema Mapping: Perform extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data, ensuring that schemas from government systems (e.g., Kahua, Maximo, ieFACMAN) are correctly mapped and integrated.Technical Sustainment: Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for PMO-specific tools, from requirements gathering and scoping to systematic testing and maintenance.Actionable Reporting: Generate automated reports and data visualizations that identify trends and interdependencies to support senior leadership decisions.Information Integrity & Data Validation: Actively engineer and maintain data validation protocols to enforce technical consistency at the point of entry. Perform regular automated audits of backend data schemas to identify and resolve logic conflicts, ensuring accuracy in all dashboard outputs and executive reports.What Required Skills You'll Bring:7+ years of hands-on experience developing information management systems and dashboards for large-scale federal programs ($50M+).Demonstrated Technical Execution: Proven experience in the primary design and maintenance of data systems (not just oversight or validation).Low-Code Development Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in the Microsoft Power Platform; you must be able to demonstrate experience building apps and automating complex backend workflows.Advanced Data Integration: Strong skills in consolidating and migrating raw data from multiple sources into a centralized environment.Systems Lifecycle Experience: Direct experience in requirements gathering, product design, development, and QC release processes.Analytical Depth: Ability to map complex data schemas and translate them into clear, actionable executive-level products.Education: BS Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics/Data Science, Computer Science, or Software Engineering; or a related technical field with demonstrated experience in systems architecture and data integration.US Citizenship required.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Adaptability to COTS Tools: While direct experience in Kahua, Maximo, or ieFACMAN is a plus, we value the ability to pick up similar enterprise platforms efficiently.Certifications: PMP or CCM are valued, but technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer) are highly preferred.Soft Skills: Ability to work effectively with government professionals and contractors to ensure data alignment.Security Clearance Requirement:Favorable fingerprint check and a minimum Tier 1 investigation initiated/completed to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).Location:Washington, DC (Majority in-person presence required, at least 75%).We are committed to a merit-based hiring process that values individual skills, qualifications, and performance.
