This role is responsible for administering and optimizing critical business systems, including billing, inventory, and accounting platforms, while designing and maintaining integrations that enable seamless data flow across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, maintain, and optimize core ISP systems, including billing platforms, provisioning systems, inventory management, and accounting softwareDesign, build, and manage API integrations between internal systems, network platforms, and third-party applicationsDevelop and maintain integrations with OSS/BSS systems, mapping network data, customer data, and financial data across platformsEvaluate, implement, and integrate new tools, systems, and databases as business needs evolveEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all systems and integrationsAutomate workflows to reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiencyMonitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot issues related to integrations and data flowsLead system implementation projects, including new system rollouts, upgrades, and migrationsOversee system rollouts, including planning, coordination, testing, and post-deployment supportDevelop and deliver training for internal teams on new systems, integrations, and process changesCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, integrations, and processesCollaborate cross-functionally with network engineering, finance, operations, and customer support teamsEstablish and enforce best practices for system security, access control, and data governanceRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience3–7+ years of experience in systems administration, systems engineering, or a similar roleStrong experience with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and system-to-system integrationsExperience integrating billing, inventory, and accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)Familiarity with ISP systems such as billing platforms, provisioning systems, or network management tools (SONAR, GAIIA, Calix, and/or Tarana TCS is a plus)Experience with databases, data mapping, and ETL processes (SQL preferred)Proficiency in scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or similar)Experience working with cloud-based platforms and SaaS applicationsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred RequirementsExperience in a fiber, broadband, or telecommunications environmentFamiliarity with OSS/BSS architecture and network provisioning workflowsExperience with integration or middleware platforms (e.g., Zapier, MuleSoft, or similar)Understanding of service activation, ticketing systems, and customer lifecycle in an ISP environmentExperience with reporting, analytics, and business intelligence toolsKey CompetenciesDetail-oriented with a strong focus on data integrityProcess-driven with an emphasis on automation and scalabilityStrong ownership and accountabilityAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentContinuous improvement mindsetWhat Success Looks LikeSeamless integration between billing, provisioning, inventory, and accounting systemsEfficient onboarding and integration of new tools and databases as the business growsSuccessful system rollouts with high user adoption and minimal disruptionWell-trained teams that effectively utilize systems and processesReduced manual processes and improved operational efficiencyAccurate, reliable data supporting business decisions
