RF Design Engineer

PGS Worldwide is seeking an RF Design Engineer in Andover, MA for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role supports the development and production of complex multi-function RF modules across the full product lifecycle. You will contribute to circuit and subsystem design, testing, and integration while working on advanced, high-reliability applications.Required SkillsBachelor's degree in a related discipline with 8+ years of professional experience, or 6+ years with a related Master's degreeExtensive experience with RF design at the Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), subsystem, or module levelExperience with schematic capture, RF block diagram reviews, and CCA developmentStrong experience troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issuesExperience using microwave test equipment such as network analyzers and spectrum analyzersExperience with RF and microwave simulation tools such as ADS, CST Microwave Studio, and HFSSAbility to obtain at least an interim Secret security clearance prior to startingPreferred SkillsMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related fieldActive Secret ClearanceExperience in the defense electronics industryExpertise with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, mixers, switches, and frequency generation or conversion circuitsExperience with 3D electromagnetic simulation toolsExperience with microelectronics assembly techniquesExperience with technical documentation including specifications, schematics, and test dataExperience leading technical projectsWhat You'll DoSupport development and production of complex RF modules across all phases of the product lifecycleDesign and develop circuits, modules, and subsystems from concept through productionAnalyze and solve complex technical problems with innovative solutionsPerform hands-on testing and validation in laboratory environmentsTroubleshoot and resolve integration and performance issuesCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including hardware, systems, and manufacturingMentor less experienced engineers and provide technical guidanceContribute to documentation and technical data supporting product developmentJob ID: 20821Military veterans and transitioning military members are encouraged to apply to all PGS Worldwide positions.
