Devops Engineer (Application Support Focused)
DevOps Engineer focused on application support, responsible for administering and supporting enterprise-level platforms and collaborating with business and technical teams to resolve issues and improve processes through automation.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct technical assistance to key business users and support vendor and custom applicationsMaintain build processes, deployment strategies, and process automationInstall and coordinate patches and releases across development, test, and production systemsImprove application delivery using containers, orchestration, and configuration management toolsAssist business teams and vendors with application installations and upgradesSupport and maintain application infrastructure including servers, network topology, authentication, and high availabilityAdminister segregation of duties support - manage server access, accounts, audit controls, and reportsStay current on technologies, recommend strategies and toolsCoordinate and facilitate meetings, documenting key decisions, risks, and issuesWork independently with ownership over all applications and responsibilitiesProvide after-hours support for business-critical projects and tasksQualifications:5+ years of relevant experience with application support and development3+ years of experience using DevOps practices, tools, and frameworksExperience supporting applications in multi-tiered environments using Linux, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, and load balancingAbility to identify potential software enhancements, analyze user needs, and recommend improvements to business processesQuickly learn new skills and technologiesExperience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub EnterpriseExperience with build and dependency management tools like Maven, Gradle, or AntExperience with scripting languages including PowerShell, Groovy, Python, Bash, or JavaScriptExperience with source control systems such as Git or SVNExperience with Microsoft T-SQL or PL/SQLJ-18808-Ljbffr
