Siebel Dev Lead

Overview In this role, you will lead a distributed agile development team focused on Siebel Financial Services projects. You will guide architecture, integration, and upgrades, shaping how client solutions align with standards and vision. You’ll drive code quality, reusable components, and CI/CD, while collaborating with product, architecture, and QA teams to deliver reliable, scalable Siebel-based solutions. ResponsibilitiesLead a team of 4-5 developers in a distributed Agile environmentSteer code reviews and establish coding best practicesPromote modularization and reusable components across the teamDevelop and maintain a Developer guide aligned with guidelinesAssist in backlog refinement and initial story sizingCollaborate with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Release Engineer, and participate in PI planningCoordinate with Solution Architects and Business Architects to ensure alignment with client standards and visionApply CI/CD practices across the delivery lifecyclePartner with QA Lead to troubleshoot quality issues, lead defect triage, and communicate timelinesPerform other duties as assigned Key requirementsBachelor’s degree or 4 years relevant work experience10+ years’ experience in application development5 years' experience with Siebel Financial Services (Version 8+)5 years' experience on Siebel Open UI configurationKnowledge of integration within the Siebel application and with external partiesDeveloped integration processes through Web services, SOAP, XML, data mapping, APIsExperience with VBC/EBC, Workflow and Business Services, script, JavascriptDatabase configuration (Schema changes, database views, stored procedures)Writing and reviewing functional and technical design documentsSiebel test automation and (load) testingMiddleware with Microsoft BizTalkExperience with upgrading Siebel applicationsleadershipcommunicationteam collaborationSiebel Financial Services (Version 8+)Siebel Open UI configurationWeb services (SOAP)
