Tooling Processor
Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Tooling Processor to join our team!ResponsibilitiesContribute to the overall completion of important and complex engineering tasks and projectsSupport major and minor engineering projects within a specified area of administrative and technical guidance to a group of employeesDevelop product sequence sheets (flow charts)Maintain and/or create time studies (operator and machine)Process with ergonomics in mind for operator stationsCoordinate needed support resources to achieve project objectives Timing and Weld Documentation Assure necessary coordination between supporting design groups, regulatory functions and internal activities on a regular basis Prepare general specifications Support, coordinate, and execute all quality initiatives Meet all customer requirements, specifications, and requestsSuggest and support all continuous improvement effortsQualifications1-2+ years of relevant experienceSiemens UG / NX Skills – navigation and observationLight or heavy automotive body in white (BIW) engineering experienceStrong organizational and planning skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to follow structured processes and proceduresStrong written and face-to-face communication skills in large and small teamsPreferred QualificationsSiemens Process Designer / eM-PlannerGM standard deliverables (STDS, WESS, SPD, XRWD’s)Peripheral automotive BIW departments and their deliverablesAll employees are required to work within the confines and responsibilities of the quality system.BenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceVacation and Holiday payEmployer matching 401KHybrid work schedule after 90 days for eligible positionsTuition ReimbursementFlexible Spending Programs (FSAs)Short-Term & Long-Term Disability insuranceEmployee Referral ProgramAdditional Voluntary Benefit ProgramsOff-site company events & Employee LuncheonsWho are we?Founded in 1957 and proudly 100% U.S.-owned, Waltonen has deep roots in Warren, Michigan, and a strong commitment to supporting our local community.
