We are seeking a Mid- to Senior-Level Engineer (Civil, Mining, Environmental).Location: Reno, Nevada (Hybrid), USAResponsibilitiesExecution and technical participation in civil design for mine waste and water engineering, permitting, and closure projectsProject management of technical deliverables, budgets, and schedulesParticipation in conceptual through detailed design and permitting processesPreparation and review of supporting engineering calculations, models, methodsInterface with clients and completion of site visits / inspections as necessaryActive engagement in development and/or advancement of SRK\'s engineering practiceActive engagement and participation in business developmentActive engagement in mentoring othersOther duties as assignedEssential RequirementsA bachelor's degree in Civil or Mining Engineering or a related fieldRegistered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Nevada or ability to obtain registrationMinimum 5 years of experience in the mining industry; professional consulting services a plusAbility and desire to collaborate with other technical specialists in mining, geochemistry, geotechnics, groundwater and environmental disciplines in a team-oriented environmentExcellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skillsStrong inter-personal communication and writing skillsProficiency in civil engineering design software and methodologies (Civil3D preferred)Experience and Compensation LevelsConsultant (3-8 years - $80,000-$110,000)Senior Consultant (8-15 years - $100,000-$160,000)Principal Consultant (15+ - $120,000-$200,000+)What We OfferAn attractive compensation package.Diversity of projects and clients within a non-hierarchical consultancy environment.Opportunity to purchase shares in the company; the SRK Group is an independent group, owned by its employees.Application ProcessApplicants should respond by submitting their CV online by clicking the button below.
