This internship provides hands-on experience in field operations, project management, and construction processes within the paving and infrastructure industry. The Construction Operations Intern will support site teams in ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.Main ResponsibilitiesAssist field operations teams with daily tasks related to paving and construction projectsSupport project managers and site supervisors with documentation, scheduling, and communicationObserve and learn construction site safety protocols and help maintain a safe work environmentConduct quality control checks and help monitor project progress on-siteHelp coordinate materials, equipment, and labor to support efficient workflowAssist in maintaining project records, including reports, timesheets, and equipment logsCollaborate with various departments including engineering, quality control, and safety teamsParticipate in site meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussionsQualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related fieldStrong interest in construction operations, paving, and infrastructure developmentBasic understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety standardsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on active construction sitesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitudeRequirementsCurrently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree prpgram in the following:Mechanical EngineeringIndustrial EngineeringCivil EngineeringConstruction ManagementColas Inc. and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
