Mechanical Engineer

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or Renewable Energy industries. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with reciprocating or mobile equipment, mechanical system design, and project execution from concept through completion.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop mechanical engineering designs, technical specifications, and detailed engineering documentationPerform engineering calculations, analysis, equipment sizing, and selectionSupport installation activities and provide field engineering support when requiredCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project integration and executionConduct design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirementsCoordinate with OEM packagers, vendors, and general contractors throughout project lifecycleParticipate in project meetings, client discussions, and technical reviewsSupport troubleshooting and optimization of gas compression, chiller, and mobile equipment systemsRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering disciplineExperience in Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or Renewable Energy sectorsStrong understanding of reciprocating and/or mobile equipmentExperience with gas compression systems and chillersProficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCADExperience with equipment selection, analysis, and mechanical calculationsAbility to manage projects from concept to completionExperience coordinating with third-party OEM vendors and contractorsStrong communication and presentation skillsPreferred QualificationsField installation and commissioning support experienceKnowledge of industry standards and mechanical design best practicesStrong problem-solving and project coordination skills
